In a weeks time Amsterdam will play host to IBC 2014, the annual conference and exhibition for pretty much everything under the sun related to digital content, including electronic media, entertainment and technology.

We're going to give you a rundown of what to expect from IBC, as well as highlight who to look out for at the exhibition for all you vfx artists and editors.

What is it?

For those that aren't familar, IBC is an anually fiftey-thousand plus attended event for professionals in the field of visual/digital entertainment and news content. Visitors can expect to learn about the developments which are shaping the industry, play about with the latest technology, experience never before seen demos and do business in a professional and supportive environment.

IBC is the event not to be missed for everyone involved in the world of content creation, management and delivery.

When is it?

There are two sets of dates to be aware of, depending on what you plan to see.

Conference: 11th - 15th September

Exhibition: 12th - 16th September

Imagineer Systems

Visit Imagineer Systems at stand 7.K29 for hands-on demonstrations of the recently released mocha Pro 4, which features a brand new stereoscopic 3D workflow, Python scripting support, Adobe Premiere support, customizable keyboard shortcuts, new exports and format handling, and more improvements for visual effects and post-production facilities.

Attendees to the show can also get a sneak preview of the soon-to-be-released mocha Pro v4.1, plus hear from visual effects artists using mocha in their daily workflows.

Telestream

Telestream will be introducing new products and enhancements to existing tools, including the addition of powerful new live video production capabilities for media professionals for Wirecast – Telestream’s live streaming production software. Enhancements to Telestream’s Episode which provides high-quality video transcoding for the entire digital post-production workflow – will include support for AS11 MXF, closed caption input and output, and integration with Adobe Premiere Pro, which enables export directly out of Adobe Premiere Pro to all formats available in Episode.

Telestream will also be participating in two conferences on the Friday.
